2.STATISTICAL ABSTRACT
The Statistical Abstract includes data on the state of Japan’s education, science and technology, academics, sports and culture. It has been edited and published based on various statistics prepared by MEXT. Statistical tables can be downloaded by PDF or Excel format for the following items: number of schools, number of teachers, students, research institutes, researchers, theses, Nobel laureates per country and field, nationally designated cultural properties, educational expenses, etc.
