To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Japan accession to UNESCO, we have created a logo in the hopes that more people will become interested in Japan’s efforts through UNESCO.
This logo will be used on various occasions at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology(Japanese National Commission for UNESCO), the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in JAPAN(NFUAJ), and the Asia-Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO(ACCU), and will be widely used by those involved in UNESCO activities. Through its use, we aim to further promote the UNESCO activities on the occasion of the 70th anniversary.

* The design of the logo
The doves, which are a symbol of peace, express the desire to create a peaceful global society, which is the purpose of UNESCO, by facing in the same direction and flying into the sky.
In addition, this motif incorporates origami, which has a deep history in Japanese culture, and shows the SDGs colors, which are the goals of the world.
