On July 30, MEXT Minister MORIYAMA Masahito paid a courtesy call on Poland’s Minister of Education Barbara Nowaczka and exchanged views on bilateral issues and initiatives in the field of education.

During the meeting, Minister Moriyama introduced Japan's efforts to utilize digital technology in school education and to secure quality teachers.

Minister Nowacka then introduced initiatives implemented by the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and on Ukrainian refugee children enrolled in Polish schools. Minister Moriyama said MEXT will continue working together in the field of education to strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership.
