2. Aid to Private Schools
(4) Loan Programs of the Japan Private School Promotion Foundation
The Japan Private School Promotion Foundation operates long
term and low interest loan programs to provide funds needed by private schools
for facilities, equipment and other necessities in management. During FY 1989,
the Foundation planned to make loans amounting to \ 60 billion, an increase of
\ 3 billion from the previous fiscal year. These loan programs are in need of
further improvement.
