(3) Household Share in School Education Eipenditures
Per student average annual amount of school education expenditures,
borne by each household, such as tuition and other school fees, commuting expenses,
extracurricular activities expenses, etc., is shown in Chart 5-9.
Such expendittres per student are increasing year by year, but
their proportion to per capita personal spending in Japan is taking a downward
turn.
