As the pace of society's internationalization has continued to increase in recent years, the amount of international exchange in the fields of art and culture has continued to display yearly increases as well.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japan Foundation, local governments, the private sector, and so on, are all engaged in actively carrying out diverse activities related to international cultural exchange.
