(3) Japanese Government Fellowship Program for Artists from Abroad
The purpose of this program, which has been in effect since fiscal1990, is to invite young foreign artists who wish to study in Japan and to provide them with opportunities for study and communication with Japanese artists. The Agency is endeavoring to enrich this program by increasing the number of invitees as well as through other measures.
