(2) Promotion of Part-time and Correspondence Courses of Upper Secondary School


Upper Secondary school education through part-time and correspondence courses is in a very different situation today from the time when they were started. Upper secondary school students in part-time courses have decreased greatly in number, and, while working young people have decreased, the number of students who transfer from full-time courses have increased. Thus, in April 1989, the duration of study at part-time and correspondence courses became variable.
