Dr. Hiroo Imura, Chairperson of the WPI Program Committee released the congratulating comment for Dr. Shinya Yamanaka, Principal Investigator at the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (WPI-iCeMS) to have been announced as a recipient of this year's Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

 Dr. Shinya Yamanaka, Principal Investigator at the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (WPI-iCeMS) has received this year's Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.  WPI-iCeMS is one of the research centers selected in 2007 by World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI).

 Dr. Hiroo Imura, Chairperson of the WPI Program Committee that is responsible for selection, assessment and management of the WPI program, has released the congratulating comment on this.
