Improving school management based upon school evaluations and securing enough time for teachers to spend with children, alongside strengthening trust amongst guardians, community members, and schools are key to improving the school environment and raising educational standards. Hence, MEXT has been promoting school management support policies, such as Community Schools （schools which have school management councils）, school evaluation, and reduced paperwork.
