The Agency for Cultural Affairs, in order to spread awareness about copyright issues, holds annual workshops on copyright throughout the country. Since FY1998, the Copyright Workshop for Educators has been held for the purpose of deepening educators' understanding about copyright issues and enriching educational activities such as teaching students about copyright.

In addition, it has prepared and is distributing administrative guidelines concerning modalities for management methods and systems for situations in which copyrights are used by computer programs, as well as a pamphlet on copyright in collaboration with the Copyright Research and Information Center (CRIC).

Furthermore, because it is necessary to heighten awareness about copyright protection starting in schools, the Agency for Cultural Affairs distributes books about copyright issues with easy-to-understand explanations to lower secondary schools all over the country.
