(7) Enrichment of the copyright system

In light of recent developments in the field of information communication technology which created new methods of utilizing creative works, changes in social and economic conditions and an international trend towards copyright protection, it is vital that a proper relationship be built between copyright holders and its users. So far, programs have been conducted to call attention to this problem by disseminating information designed to enlighten people concerning copyright protection. Efforts have also been undertaken to improve and refine the copyright system so that it will be more effectively able to deal with the development and spread of new means of utilization of copyrighted materials that have arisen as a result of recent technological innovations. Dissemination of information regarding copyright protection and improvement of the copyright system itself are both areas which will require much attention in the future.
