There have been several means employed to assess and introduce learning achievements obtained outside one's own campus such as the credit transfer system between universities and graduate schools, and the skill training collaboration system at part-time and correspondence courses of upper secondary schools, under which skill training received at certain institutions outside these schools are recognized as part of credits.
