(3) Diversification of Access to Schools

In order to integrate working and other people in society into universities and schools. the provision of access different from that for traditional students is needed.

To this end, various measures have been taken ; in evening (part-time) and correspondence courses, class hours and teaching methods are being improved ; the University Entrance Qualification Test and special quota for adults and working applicants are employed to make application qualification and screening standards more flexible ; and the system of auditors and research students allows for taking only a part of courses according to students' needs.
