(4) Quantity and Quality of Teachers
The efficiency of education depends largely upon the quantity
and quality of the teachers. The pupil-teacher ratio is a measure of the adequacy
of the number of teachers, and the training period and the qualifications of
teachers are considered as measures of the quality of the teaching staff.
