(1)The Administrative Notifications regarding Countermeasures against COVID-19 in Schools
 
We would like to announce that the following administrative notifications regarding countermeasures against COVID-19 in schools issued by MEXT.
 
<Issued on March 18th, 2022>
The revised Basic Policies for Novel Coronavirus Disease Control (PDF:501KB)
Points of countermeasures against COVID-19 corresponding to the Omicron variant in schools during the spring vacation (PDF:468KB)
 
<Issued on March 23rd, 2022>
Notification regarding the points to adapt the Guidelines for countermeasures in the case where COVID-19 infection of students, teachers or staff is confirmed at the schools to the Omicron variant (Update) (PDF:658KB)
Measures at schools regarding identification and behavioral restrictions of close contacts, and the implementation of active immunological surveys based on the characteristics of the Omicron variant (PDF:595KB)
Conduct the tests for COVID-19 to the staffs at elderly facilities, kindergartens, day care centers and elementary schools, etc. (PDF:454KB)
Tentative English version of the points regarding the implementation of vaccinations for infants and students against COVID-19 in schools (PDF:3,823KB)

(2)The tentative English translation version of the Final Report of Advisory Committee on the Health and Hygiene Environment in Schools for Foreign Students
 
We held the Advisory Committee on Health and Hygiene Environment of Facilities Exclusively Aimed Exclusively at Educating Foreign Children (so-called "Schools for Foreign Students") from June to December 2021.
The tentative English translation version of the Final Report is available on the following website.
