(1)Emergency evacuation measure for Myanmar residents in Japan based on circumstances in Myanmar
On February 1st this year, a coup d'état by the military took place in Myanmar, followed by protest demonstrations throughout the country. In response, cases of civilians being killed or injured by gunfire from soldiers occurred, and the situation in the country continues to be unclear.
Due to that situation, we wish to inform you that the Immigration Services Agency of Japan has decided to allow for the time being Myanmar residents in Japan to continue residing and working in Japan as an emergency evacuation measure from May 28th.
