MEXT would like to announce that we issued “Thorough implementation of measures against novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at elementary schools, junior high schools and high schools upon the area expansion of the declaration of a state of emergency (Notification dated January 14, 2021)”, upon the addition of 7 prefectures to the area of the declaration of a state of emergency by the Prime Minister.
