Objectives

  • ・ To provide a platform for ESD youth leaders from around the world to engage in dialogue and peer learning to enhance their ESD practices.
  • ・ To highlight the contribution of youth to the ESD movement, particularly their innovative approaches.
  • ・ To formulate collective input and recommendations to the World Conference on ESD.
  • ・ To promote further youth involvement in ESD and a commitment to actions beyond 2014.

Output

A collective youth statement, which will be developed through pre-conference online discussions and finalized at the UNESCO ESD Youth Conference, will be submitted to the World Conference on ESD. The statement will also be shared through the official UNESCO World Conference website.
