Artistic activities the very essence of culture, most clearly reflect the level of a culture and the degree of its creativity. It follows then, that in order to enrich the artistic level, the provision of public support for spontaneous. creative artistic activities taking place mainly within major private art organizations is an important facet of promoting cultural policy. A special consideration for financial support exists in cases of large scale, ambitious performances that might not necessarily prove to be financially profitable. In addition to requests for financial support of artistic activities. There are more demands than ever in art creation for active assistance in the development of infrastructure, for example, the training of artists and the development of facilities. The enrichment of art fellowship programs, the training of art management personnel and the establishment of a new facility for modern performing arts, tentatively named the "New National Theatre" are all important topics in this area. Attention must also be given to the improvement of national art museums, which serve as centers for the collection and display of excellent works of fine art.
