(l) The Task of Educational Reform in the Developed Countries
On the basis of the quantitative expansion of education in 1960's,
the Organization for Economic Cooperation and 'Development, composed of twenty-two
developed countries including Japan, held in June 1970 a "Conference on Polices
for Educational Growth". High-ranking educational personnel from the member countries
were invited to attend this conference. Those problems discussed in this conference
as common to all member countries were as follows:
