伊調馨 氏/Kaori Icho

日本を代表するレスリング選手。2004年アテネオリンピックにおいて63kg級で優勝。2008年北京オリンピック、2014年ロンドンオリンピックでも同級で優勝している。伊調馨氏のオリンピックでの活躍を称え、天皇陛下より紫綬褒章を3度授与されている。リオ大会では58kg級で出場が確定している、世界のトップとして第一線で活躍されている現役オリンピアンである。

Kaori Icho is a freestyle wrestler who has represented Japan at the international level. In 2004, she won gold in the 63 kg weight class at the Athens Olympics. She also won gold in the same weight class at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, and the London Olympics in 2014. She has been awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon by His Imperial Majesty three times in recognition of her Olympic performances. An active Olympian, Ms. Icho represents Japan at the highest level, and will appear in the 58 kg weight class at the Rio Games.

成田真由美 氏/Mayumi Narita

アトランタ、シドニー、アテネ、北京と夏季パラリンピック4大会連続出場(競泳)し、金15、銀3、銅2と計20個のメダル獲得。その功績より、内閣総理大臣賜杯、内閣総理大臣顕彰、パラリンピックスポーツ大賞(最優秀女子選手賞)など数々の賞を受賞。2008年北京大会以降、現役を退いていたが、平成27年選手に復帰、平成28年3月に「リオ2016パラリンピック大会」の代表候補となる。その他、講演を通じ、障害者や障害者スポーツの周知活動を続ける。現在、公益財団法人東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会組織委員会理事、第8期中央教育審議会委員等を務める。

Mayumi Narita is a Paralympic swimmer, who has appeared in four successive Paralympic Games (Atlanta, Sydney, Athens, and Beijing), winning a total of 20 medals (15 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze). Her success has brought a variety of awards including the Prime Minister’s Trophy, the Prime Minister’s Award, and a Paralympic Sport Award (Best Female Athlete). After retiring from sport following the Beijing Paralympics in 2008, Ms. Narita began competing again in 2015, and in March 2016 became a candidate for selection for the 2016 Rio Paralympics. Through public lectures she also remains involved with activities to raise awareness of people with disabilities and sport for people with disabilities. She currently serves as a director of the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and as a member of the 8th committee of the Central Council for Education, among other roles.

本田圭佑 氏/Keisuke Honda

大阪府摂津市生まれ。ガンバ大阪ジュニアユースから石川県星稜高校に進学。卒業後に名古屋グランパスエイトへ入団しレギュラーに定着。2008年にVVVフェンロ(オランダ)に移籍し、1部昇格の中心となるとともにMVPに輝く。2010年、ロシアの強豪CSKAモスクワに完全移籍。チャンピオンズリーグでゴールを決めるなどチーム初のベスト8に大きく貢献。同年、W杯南アフリカ大会の日本代表として全4試合にフル出場。2ゴールを決め、日本をベスト16に導く。2014年、ACミランに移籍。背番号10番をつけ現在も活躍中。2015年にSVホルン(オーストリア)の実質的なオーナーに就任。2016年には国連財団の教育関連のメンバーやMITメディアラボの研究員になるなど、経営者・教育者・投資家としても活動している。

Professional soccer player Keisuke Honda was born in Settsu, Osaka Prefecture. He played for Gamba Osaka’s junior youth soccer team before entering Seiryo High School. After graduating, he joined Japanese soccer club Nagoya Grampus Eight and soon became a first-team regular. In 2008 he moved to Dutch football club VVV-Venlo and won MVP for his performance as a key player propelling the club’s promotion to the first division. While on a permanent contract to Russia’s leading club CSKA Moscow in 2010, he scored a goal in the UEFA Champions League and contributed to the team’s first advance to the quarterfinals. In the same year, he played for Japan in the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, where he took the field in all four matches and netted two goals, leading the national squad to the 16th round. In 2014 he joined Italy’s top team AC Milan and where he currently plays, wearing the number 10 jersey. In addition to his playing career, Honda became the de facto owner of the Austrian football club SV Horn in 2015. He is also active as an entrepreneur, educator and investor, serving as a member of the United Nations Foundation’s educational program and as a researcher at the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Media Lab in 2016.

松井秀喜 氏/Hideki Matsui

日米で活躍する元プロ野球選手。星稜高校卒業後、10年間読売ジャイアンツでプレーをし、日本シリーズを3度優勝する。2003年から拠点をアメリカに移し、ニューヨーク・ヤンキース、ロサンゼルス・エンゼルス、オークランド・アスレチックス、タンパペイ・レイズでプレー。2009年にはニューヨーク・ヤンキースの一員としてワールドシリーズ優勝し、日本人で初のワールドシリーズMVPを獲得する。引退後2013年に国民栄誉賞を受賞。2015年からはニューヨーク・ヤンキースGM特別アドバイザーに就任。同年、松井55ベースボールファウンデーションをアメリカで立ち上げ、日米で野球教室を開催している。その他コロンビア大学の特別講師として講演を行ったこともある。

Hideki Matsui is a retired successful professional baseball player who played in Japan and the United States. After graduating from Seiryo High School, he played for the Yomiuri Giants for ten years, contributing to that team’s three-time victory in the Japan Series. In 2003, he moved to the US, where he played for the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Angels, the Orlando Athletics, and the Tampa Bay Rays. In 2009, while a member of the World Series-winning New York Yankees, he became the first Japanese national to be awarded the World Series MVP. Upon retirement, he received the People’s Honor Award in 2013 in Japan, and in 2015 was appointed special advisor to the GM of the New York Yankees. In that same year he established the Matsui 55 Baseball Foundation, Inc in the US, which currently holds baseball clinics in both the US and Japan. He has also served as a guest lecturer at Colombia University in New York.

国内外で活躍する映画監督。平成9年史上最年少でカンヌ国際映画祭カメラドール(新人監督賞)、平成19年には審査員特別大賞グランプリ、平成21年には同映画祭に貢献した監督に贈られる「黄金の馬車賞」を受賞。平成25年には日本人監督として初めて同映画祭で審査員を務める。また、平成27年にはフランス文化大臣の布告によりフランス芸術文化勲章「シュヴァリエ」を授与された。平成28年の5月カンヌ国際映画祭では2部門の審査員長として招聘を受けた。地元奈良において「なら国際映画祭」をオーガナイズしながら次世代の育成にも力を入れている。

Naomi Kawase is a film director, who has made films both in Japan and abroad. In 1997, she became the youngest person to win the Camera d’Or (prize for new directors) at the Cannes Film Festival, winning the Grand Prix in 2007. In 2009, she was awarded the Golden Coach for contributions to the Cannes Film Festival as a director. In 2013, Ms. Kawase became the first Japanese national to serve as a member of the Cannes Film Festival Jury. She was also named a Chevalier of the French L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by proclamation of the French Minister of Culture, and in May 2016 was invited to preside over the Jury in two divisions of the Cannes Film Festival. In her home town of Nara, she organizes the Nara International Film Festival, and works to develop the next generation of directors.

北島三郎 氏/Saburo Kitajima

1936年10月4日北海道上磯郡知内町に5男2女の長男として生まれる。祖父の歌う江差追分を子守唄に育った少年時代、鰊漁の不振や戦争の影響を受け貧しい暮らしであったが当時ラジオから流れてくる流行歌に興味を持ち、歌手になる決心をする。高校卒業後に上京、渋谷の裏町で6年間流しをしていたときに作曲家・船村徹と出会い師事。1962年デビュー『なみだ船』で日本レコード大賞新人賞を受賞。以降『函館の女』『帰ろかな』『兄弟仁義』『風雪ながれ旅』『北の漁場』『まつり』などヒット曲多数。日本レコード大賞3冠をはじめ、46年間通算4578回に及ぶ座長舞台公演や、NHK紅白歌合戦50回最多出場など、数多な前人未到の記録を持つ。また、G1優勝馬を含む多数の競走馬を所有する馬主としても有名である。2016年春の叙勲において旭日小綬章を受章。サブちゃんの愛称で老若男女問わず親しまれ『歌い続けることが自分の天命』と観客の拍手を糧に、終わりなき芸道を歩み続けている。

Saburo Kitajima was born in Shiriuchi, Kamiiso District, Hokkaido, on October 4, 1936. He is the eldest son in a family of five sons and two daughters. In his childhood, he listened to his grandfather singing the local folk song Esashi Oiwake as a lullaby. World War II and the decline in herring fishing, his hometown’s main industry, left the family impoverished. But while listening to the radio, he became interested in popular songs and decided to become a singer. After graduating from high school, he left for Tokyo and traveled as a wandering minstrel from one pub to another thru the backstreets of Shibuya for six years, when he finally met composer Toru Funamura and began training under him. Kitajima made his professional debut as a singer in 1962, and his song “Namida Bune” won the New Artist Award at the Japan Record Awards. He recorded a string of hit songs, such as “Hakodate no Onna,” “Kaero Kana,” “Kyodai Jingi,” “Fusetsu Nagare Tabi,” “Kita no Ryoba” and “Matsuri,” and holds numerous records unprecedented in the music and entertainment industry, including winning the Triple Crown at the Japan Record Awards, presiding over 4,578 theater shows for 46 years, and appearing a record fifty times on “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen,” the annual year-end song contest. In addition, he is famous as the owner of many racehorses that include G1 winners. He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, in the spring of 2016. Affectionately known as “Sabu-chan,” multitalented Saburo Kitajima, popular among men and women of all ages, vows to continue his longtime career as a performer as long as there is an audience to cheer him on, saying, “It is Heaven’s will that I keep singing.”

竹内佐和子 氏/Sawako Takeuchi

フランス応用数理経済研究所客員研究員、フランス国立ポンゼショセ工科大学国際経営大学院副所長などフランスでの経験が長く、国内では、長銀総合研究所主席研究員、東京大学大学院工学系研究科助教授、外務省参与・大使、京都大学客員教授を歴任、その後フランスに渡ってパリ日本文化会館館長を5年間つとめる。文化芸術、経済、科学技術を総合的マネジメントできる国際リーダーの一人。平成16年にフランス政府より国家功労賞シュヴァリエ勲章、平成24年文化芸術シュバリエ勲章を受章。工学博士と経済学博士の二つの博士号に加え、裏千家茶道教授の称号を持つ。現在文部科学省顧問。

Sawako Takeuchi’s extensive experience in France includes research associate at the French Institute of Applied Mathematics and Economics and Vice-President of the Graduate School of International Business at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. In Japan, she has served as Chief Economist at the Research Institute of the Long Term Credit Bank, associate professor at the Graduate School of Engineering of The University of Tokyo, Ambassador and Special Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and visiting professor at Kyoto University. Upon returning to France, she served as President of the Japan Cultural Institute, Paris for five years. As an international leader in the management of art and culture, economics, and science and technology, the French Government named Ms. Takeuchi Chevalier of L’Ordre National du Merite in 2004, and Chevalier of L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2012. In addition to doctorates in engineering and economics, she also holds the rank of professor in the Ura Senke style of Japanese tea ceremony. She currently serves as an advisor to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology.

片野坂真哉 氏(ANAホールディングス株式会社 代表取締役社長)/Shinya Katanozaka (President and CEO, ANA Holdings Inc.)

1979年に東京大学法学部を卒業後、全日本空輸に入社。経営企画部や営業推進本部、人事部などを経て、2009年にCS推進室・商品戦略室などの上席執行役員に就任。常務や専務を経て、2013年からANAホールディングス副社長としてグループの人材戦略や経営戦略を担う。2015年4月に代表取締役社長、グループ経営戦略会議議長、グループCSR推進会議総括、グループ監査部担当に就任。現在に至る。

Mr. Shinya Katanozaka joined All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. after graduating from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, in 1979. Having worked in such divisions as Corporate Planning and Human Resources, and at the Sales Promotion Headquarters, he became Corporate Executive Officer of Customer Satisfaction (CS) Promotion and Products and Services Strategy in 2009. After serving as Executive Director and Vice President, he was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President of ANA Holdings Inc. in 2013, in charge of ANA Group Human Resources Strategy and Corporate Strategy. From April 2015 to present, he has served as President and Chief Executive Officer as well as Chairman of ANA Group’s Management Committee and CSR Promotion Committee, and Chief Internal Auditor.

櫻田謙悟 氏(SOMPOホールディングス株式会社グループCEO 取締役社長)/Kengo Sakurada (Group CEO, President and Chief Executive Officer, Sompo Holdings, Inc.)

1978年早稲田大学を卒業後、安田火災海上保険(現 損保ジャパン日本興亜)に入社。損害保険事業における経営統合、事業提携、経営企画、営業、システム、人事などの経験に加え、アジア開発銀行での勤務など多彩な経歴を持つ。2010年に損保ジャパン(現 損保ジャパン日本興亜)社長。SOMPOホールディングス株式会社グループCEO 取締役社長。2012年より現職。

Kengo Sakurada graduated from Waseda University and joined the former Yasuda Fire & Marine Insurance (currently Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance) in 1978.
He has broad experience in various fields such as marketing, human resources, and corporate planning, and he worked as a budget and planning officer at the Asian Development Bank from 1992 to 1996. With his extensive knowledge of information & communication technology, he acted as CIO from 2007 to 2010.
He became President & CEO of Sompo Japan in 2010. He has been President & CEO of Sompo Holdings, Inc. since 2012.

遠藤信博 氏(日本電気株式会社(NEC) 代表取締役会長)/Nobuhiro Endo (Chairman of the Board, NEC Corporation)

1981年に東京工業大学大学院理工学研究科博士課程修了後、NECに入社。主に衛星通信装置や携帯電話基地局など、無線通信機器の開発に従事。2003年モバイルワイヤレス事業部長、2006年執行役員兼モバイルネットワーク事業本部長を経て、2009年に執行役員常務となり経営企画、人事等を担当。2010年4月に代表取締役執行役員社長に就任。2016年より代表取締役会長となり、現在に至る。

Mr. Nobuhiro Endo joined NEC Corporation after completing a doctoral program at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, in 1981. He was primarily engaged in the development of wireless communication systems for satellite communication devices and mobile phone base stations. He served as General Manager of the Mobile and Wireless Division in 2003, followed by Associate Senior Vice President of NEC and Executive General Manager of the Mobile Network Operations Unit in 2006. In 2009 he became Senior Vice President and Member of the Board, in charge of corporate planning and human resources. In April 2010 he was appointed President and Representative Director, and he has also served as Chairman of the Board since 2016.

根岸秋男 氏(明治安田生命保険相互会社 取締役代表執行役社長)/Akio Negishi (Director, President, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company)

1981年早稲田大学理工学部卒業後、明治生命保険に入社。アクチュアリーとして保険数理等を担当した後、個人営業分野の営業戦略の企画・立案や商品開発に従事。滋賀支社長を経て、2005年に企画部長、2007年に営業企画部長を歴任し、経営戦略や個人営業戦略を担う。常務執行役等を経て2013年より取締役代表執行役社長に就任。現在に至る。

Mr. Akio Negishi joined Meiji Life Insurance Company after graduating from the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, in 1981. Having served as an actuary in charge of actuarial functions, he was engaged in marketing strategy planning and product development for individual customers. He was appointed General Manager of Shiga Regional Office, followed by General Manager, Corporate Planning Department in 2005 and General Manager, Marketing Planning & Research Department in 2007, responsible for corporate strategy and individual insurance marketing strategies. After becoming Managing Executive Officer, he has assumed the current title of Director, President since 2013.

辻慎吾 氏(森ビル株式会社 代表取締役社長)/Shingo Tsuji (President and CEO, Mori Building Co., Ltd.)

1985年に横浜国立大学大学院工学研究科を修了後、森ビル株式会社に入社。六本木ヒルズ運営室長、タウンマネジメント室長などを歴任し、2006年に取締役、2008年に常務取締役に就任。営業本部長代行としてオフィス・住宅・商業の営業統括や、中国・上海での開発事業におけるタウンマネジメント運営などを担当。2009年に取締役副社長に就任し、経営企画室を立ち上げ。2011年6月に代表取締役社長に就任し、現在に至る。

Tsuji joined the company in 1985 after graduating from the Yokohama National University Graduate School of Engineering. He served as the head of the Roppongi Hills Management Division and Town Management Department.
He also served as Managing Director responsible for the leasing and operation of office, residential, and retail facilities, as well as development projects in Shanghai, China. In 2009 he became executive vice president and launched the Corporate Planning Office. Since June 2011, he has served as president and chief executive officer.
