（質問）How is your life in Japan? Please tell us what you like about Japan.
　　　　日本での生活はどうですか。日本の好きなところを教えてください。
（回答）I have enjoyed living in Tokyo very much! 
　　　　I adore so much about Japan, but if I had to choose just a few things: Japanese arts and crafts (and fantastic art museums); seasonal cuisine; and amazing public transportation system and Shinkansen.
　　　　東京での生活はとても楽しいです。
　　　　日本の好きなところはたくさんありますが、いくつか選ぶとしたら、日本の美術や工芸（そして素晴らしい美術館）、四季折々の食事、素晴らしい公共交通機関や新幹線です。
　
（質問）How is the US currently addressing the SDGs?
　　　　現在アメリカはSDGsにどのように取り組んでいますか。
（回答）We are heavily investing in sustainable energy, but I wish we were doing more to lower our energy consumption. I think Japan is doing a better job.
　　　　持続可能なエネルギーに対する投資に力を入れています。でも、私たちはもっとエネルギー消費を減らさないといけません。日本の方が進んでいると思います。
　
（質問）Please tell us the difference between the schools in America and schools in Japan.
　　　　アメリカの学校と日本の学校の違いを教えてください。
（回答）Because I have had the privilege of teaching in Japan and in the U.S., I can honestly say that there is little difference. Both countries have bright, thoughtful students and diligent teachers.
　　　　日本の学校とアメリカの学校で教えるという貴重な経験をしましたが、正直に言えば、あまり違いはないと思います。どちらの学校にも、聡明で思慮深い児童・生徒たちと熱心な先生たちがいます。
　
（質問）What is good about working at the embassy? What is challenging?
　　　　大使館の仕事で良いところはありますか。大変なところはどんなところですか。
（回答）Good: Meeting interesting people working on interesting issues.
　　　　Sometimes challenging: We are not acting as individuals and thus must follow our country’s priorities and protocol.
　　　　良いところ：興味深い仕事で興味深い人々と出会えることです。
　　　　たまに大変なところ：個人としてではなく、国としての優先順位や手順に沿って物事を進めないといけないところです。
　
（質問）What should I study to prepare for working at an embassy?
　　　　大使館に勤めるために、何を勉強すればよいですか。
（回答）Political Science and/or History
　　　　政治学あるいは歴史、またはその両方です。
