The Japan-Spain joint nomination of Materials Related to the Keicho-era Mission to Europe to be inscribed on the UNESCO Memory of the World Register

The Selection Committee for Memory of the World of the Japanese National Commission for UNESCO has decided to jointly nominate with Spain, Materials Related to the Keicho-era Mission to Europe to be inscribed on the UNESCO Memory of the World Register.
The Committee will work towards the inscription of these documents along with the Mido-kanpaku-ki documents of the Heian era, onto the list for May 2013.
The nomination will be submitted to the UNESCO headquarters at the end of next month.
