Announcement of the official opening of MEXT Facebook Page

For the purpose of diversifying and swiftly providing information through various means, MEXT has officially opened a Facebook account. Through using this social network service, MEXT will further promote the active distribution of information on its policies.

As Facebook is widely used amongst English speaking countries, MEXT will use also its Facebook page to publicize policy information in English.

In the event that the MEXT homepage (http://www.mext.go.jp) becomes inaccessible due to a blackout, MEXT will disseminate information through other mediums such as via Facebook or Twitter (@mextjapan).
