Wednesday-Thursday,  August 22-23, 2018

On Day 2, the students interview MEXT Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Noriko Miyagawa and prepare for their presentations.

On Day 3, the groups work on completing their innovative, free-thinking presentations.

Each group is given a 15-minute Q&A session in the press room, where the Minister’s daily press conference is held.
The students present their results with confidence. Some ask about the merits of adding Moral Education as a subject. Minister Hayashi, MEXT staff, and the parents are all impressed by the presentations.

Minister Hayashi commends the students, stressing his thrill to be able to hear what kind of classes the students are interested in, and how they want to be assessed.

Vice-Minister Miyagawa hands all the participants a Certificate of Completion and commemorative gift.
