Generally speaking,countries in which a large number of patents
are applied for can be considered countries in which private corporations and
other organizations carry out active R&D.Countries with a large number of
patent applications in foreign countries can be viewed as taking aggressive strategies
for the future establishment of foreign production centers or maintenance of
markets.Moreover,countries with many patents granted are more likely to be countries
with a large number of effective patents and inventions.
