1. Meaning of Cultural Property


The Law for the Protection of Cultural Properties defines five types of cultural properties: tangible cultural properties, intangible cultural properties, folk-cultural properties, monuments, and groups of historic buildings. Cultural properties are classified as follows (see Figure 2-8-5 ).
