The fund was made up of government investment and additional contributions from the private sector. The fund is used for implementing various programs, including; (1) assistance of player reinforcement activities; (2) assistance for national and inter-national activities by sports organizations; (3) assistance to enable players and leaders to devote themselves exclusively to sports activities;(4) assistance toward internationally prominent sports activities.
