(4) Strengthening Mutual Cooperation among Different Educational Institutions
In order to appropriately evaluate the academic achievements
acquired by students outside their own school or university, various systems
have been introduced and utilized. They include; a system of university credit
transfers under which a university may recognize credits awarded by some other
universities as equivalent to those of its own and a system of upper secondary
credit transfers under which some upper secondary school credits are awarded
to day/evening course or correspondence course students for completing technical
education or training courses given in special training schools, miscellaneous
schools or vocational training centers.
