Along with the advancement of research methods and the expansion
of research projects. research equipment is rapidly becoming larger and more
advanced. Updating equipment is now a pressing issue and necessitates an adequate
increase in the relevant budget. Basic equipment should be provided to each research
laboratory, and advanced equipment should be introduced adequately upon the basis
of merit evaluation. Also, for the efficient use of such research equipment,
their joint use by the largest possible number of researchers should be intensively
encouraged.
