(4) Strengthening Mutual Cooperation among Different Educational Institutions
In order to duly evaluate academic achievement acquired by students
out side their own schools or universities, various systems have been introduced
and utilized. They include: a system of university credit transfers under which
a university may recognize credits awarded by some other universities as equivalent
to those of its own and a system of upper secondary credit transfers under which
some upper secondary school credits are awarded to part-time or correspondence
course students for the results of their technical education or training given
in special training schools, miscellaneous schools or vocational training centers.
