Chapter 6. Promotion of Social Education
5. Providing the infrastructure for Social Education

The improvement of social education facilities such as citizen's public halls, libraries and museums and the development of leaders are being supported, in order to respond to diversified and advanced learning needs. Individual social education facilities have actively promoted various learning activities so far, and in the future, in addition to efforts to make individual facilities and programs attractive, networking with other facilities and programs and building up an environment more conducive to learning will become more important. Leaders of social education have been trained by the government and local public bodies. In the future, in order to cope with diversified and advanced learning needs, efforts to further improve their abilities and to promote exchanges between leaders must be strengthened.
