Resources Information and Counselling Services
Providing learning resources information and counselling services
on learning is now an most important part of assuring residents the most suitable
opportunities for learning. To this end, some prefectures and municipalities
are cooperating to build up data bases and information network systems to provide
the local residents with learning information and counselling services through
nearby citizens' public halls, etc. So far, Gunma, Hy_go, _saka, and Ehime prefectures
have done so. Programs to promote lifelong learning have begun to offer learning
information and counselling services through television, radio and written materials.
