(3) Promotion of Vocational Education


In the field of vocational education in upper secondary school, measures have been taken for the establishment and reorganization of courses, the improvement of educational content and the consolidation and upgrading of facilities and equipment, in order to respond to changes in industrial society and the diversification of student needs. The new Course of Study provides for the improvement of the content of each subject. the enrichment of information education, the introduction of "topicstudies , " and the option to establish interdisciplinary courses cutting across, for example, the fields of welfare, information science and industrial technology.
