(3) Contents of the Curriculum -Moral Education
The contents of the curriculum have developed in close relationship
with social and economic development. The changes in the contents are shown most
clearly in the textbooks which have been employed. A review of the major changes
in basic textbooks for elementary schools will be illustrative of the changes
which have taken place in the contents of the curricula of the public schools.
