There are two types of training courses for teacher training students conducting research in Japan.
The general course consists of cultivating a deeper specialized knowledge of the subject(s) that you teach in school, in which one particular field is selected for research and training conducted under a dedicated instructor.
The other type is a relatively standardized “advanced program” in which the field or theme is determined by the university, and cooperative research conducted on such by multiple instructors and teacher training students. The aim is to cultivate a broad range of knowledge that is not limited to a single subject, through debates/discussions with other students and instructors. This year we are offering four appealing programs.
We look forward to seeing you all in Japan.
